Spooky Spells is the latest release from Novomatic (GreenTube) and is coming out just in time for this year’s Halloween festivities. If you already play Novomatic slots, you might recall one of their other Halloween themed slots that toyed with this theme back in 2016, namely Spooky House. It is not clear whether their new online slot machine is supposed to be a sort of sequel, but it is very similar in theme and graphics. Paytable Symbols

The paytable symbols include the almost traditional card symbols, in this case, 10, J, Q, K and A. These are the lower value symbols which have been styled in a Gothic or even Celtic manner to tie in nicely with the overall Halloween slot theme. The slightly more valuable symbols include more relevant spooky symbols, including potions, skulls with candles in them,bats, and a few others.

The symbols values are okay, but they are not like some of the other more generous online slot games. The best of the scary bunch is the blonde witch wearing her witch’s hat. If you manage to get five of these symbols across a payline, then you will win x8 your stake – not bad at all.
