“When I logged back on, my balance was nearly $1 million”
PartyCasino.com regular Russell got 2007 off to a flying start when he scooped a huge jackpot of nearly $1 million last month.
The lucky Brit won a Party Mega Jackpot worth $957,397.24 in late January, which, coupled with a win of $100,000 on the Super Mystic slots earlier in the month, took his winnings to over $1 million.
We asked Russell to tell us about his experience in his own words.
“I loved playing on the jackpot slots. I never thought for one minute I would get a chance at the jackpots but the more I played the more jackpot chances I got.
I only won the small jackpot and thought the bigger ones were just to tempt people to carry on playing. On the night of my win, I got the heading on my screen 'Congratulations you've won a jackpot'. The first box I picked was a dollar sign, and then I got another followed by two loser symbols. I was excited to have got two, but when my fifth pick was a dollar sign I started to shake.
There were five boxes left, and one of them contained the mega-jackpot fourth dollar sign. I didn't know which to pick and changed my mind several times. I made my choice but couldn't bear to look, so I glanced at the jackpot boxes instead. I froze when the only box to flash was the mega-jackpot box.
I stared at my screen for a long time but it didn’t sink in. I laughed nervously and decided to look at my balance on-screen. It hadn’t changed. I panicked and thought for a second I hadn't won it. I logged off and logged back on again and my balance was nearly $1 million. Again, I just stared at the screen, still not quite gasping the situation. Then I made myself a cup of coffee and stared again.
I’m bursting to tell someone but can't get the words out. This win will enable me to buy a house and travel the world, and will give me financial security for the rest of my days. I've booked a two-week holiday in a five-star hotel and am going to see if anyone can possibly make my smile disappear.
Thanks again for changing my life. I hope this happens to many others.”
Congratulations and best wishes from PartyCasino.com, Russell.
